We invite all young athletes to come out and experience the excitement of UBC Sport Camps!
Our Philosophy
UBC Sport Camps is striving to be a leader in the sporting community by offering a variety of summer camps and programs for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, thus adapting to the performance needs of each individual camp participant.
“It’s too hard!” “I can’t do it!” “That’s impossible!” These are all just opinions. With patience and perseverance potentials can be reached. This is what UBC Sport Camps believes.
Our instructors work hard to create an environment conducive to forming positive relationships, developing athletic skills, and having fun. We not only want to teach sport specific skills but also foster self esteem by teaching campers the value of being involved in sport and activity – from setting goals and challenging oneself to the importance of teamwork, cooperation and playing fair. We encourage campers to lead a healthy and active lifestyle as they develop in all areas of life.
Our Staff
Our instructors are selected based on their enthusiasm, knowledge and patience. It is not only important that our staff members have a passion for sport and physical activity, they must also have the desire to pass this love and appreciation of sport and physical activity onto all of our campers! We understand the needs of our camp participants and work as a staff to ensure that every student has a beneficial, safe and enjoyable experience at our camps.
