Sport Camp Instructors/Coaches
UBC Sport Camps is looking for individuals to fill the position(s) of Sport Camp Instructor in various youth sport and activity camps this summer. These Instructors will be responsible for; program design and implementation, supervising groups of youth (ages ranging from 4-17), teaching sport/activity specific rules and skills, and assisting with pre and post camp supervision duties. Sport Camp Instructors will report to program directors and the Sport Camps Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with children in group settings
• Strong customer service skills
• Sport specific knowledge/skills for a particular sport
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• Strong organizational skills

PREFERRED QULIFICATIONS:
• Valid First-aid/CPR certification
• Class 4 driver’s license
• Previous coaching experience
• Can-Bike BC certification

WORK HOURS: full-time and part-time positions (Monday-Friday) available for July and August 2010

UBC Sport Camps is looking for Volunteers to help us with our 2010 Summer Camps. Volunteering is a great opportunity to give back to the community, learn new skills in a working environment, participate actively in problem solving, help develop the youth of tomorrow as well as yourself and have loads of FUN along the way.
