Description: The UBC Camps International Senior Instructor will be responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of all UBC Camps International programs. The position works in partnership with the Summer Office Manager to ensure quality delivery of all aspects of the UBC Camps International program. The position reports directly to the Manager –Sports and International Camps.
Duties & Responsibilities: The UBC Camps International Senior Instructor will be responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of all summer camp programs, including administration duties, supervising instructors & volunteers, liaising with housing and food services, ensuring safety of campers throughout the day, dealing with camper concerns, addressing behavioral issues. The lead instructor works alongside the other instructors, and directly with the campers. This is a hands on position, and may require varied hours of work.

Duties include; keeping attendance, supervising meals & free time in the residence, encouraging social engagement and games in the common space, ensuring bed-time and wake-up are on time, ensuring residence rules and regulations are followed. Further duties may also include accompanying campers to evening & weekend activities and dealing with camper concerns, and addressing behavioral issues. This is a hands-on position that requires varied hours of work, including evenings and weekends.

Description: The UBC Camps International Volunteer Hosts will be responsible for helping students enjoy their camp experience.
Duties & Responsibilities: The UBC Camps Volunteer Hosts will be responsible for engaging students in conversation and communication. They will assist students to practice and learn English; encourage conversational interaction, and increase understanding and appreciation of Canadian culture. This is a hands-on-position that spends weekday afternoons with the UBC Camps International Program.
